Postdoctoral Fellowship in Vascular Biology
A postdoctoral position in vascular immunology is immediately available in the laboratory of Dr. Roger Johns, MD, PhD, Dr. Johns’ lab has been continuously funded by the National Institutes of Health for over 30 years. The group focuses on the immunoregulatory and immunotherapy of cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases. Now the lab is seeking a research fellow to study the immune-vascular interaction in the pathogenesis of pulmonary hypertension, COVID-19, and other lung inflammation-related pathologies.
Deep experience and productivity in molecular and cell biology is a must. Experience in immunology and vascular or lung biology would be strengths.
We are a dynamic, innovative laboratory of diverse interacting scientists. Focus spans transcriptional/epigenetic regulation, cell biology, animal model physiology, biomarker development, human cell and patient mechanistic investigation and development of therapeutics.
