Postdoctoral research position are available to work on an NIH-funded project devising and optimizing strategies for specifically targeting cancer containing gain-of-function mutant p53.


We seek talented applicants with a recent PhD in Cancer Biology/Biochemistry/ Molecular Biology or closely related fields.  Candidates should have a strong background in molecular biology techniques.  Experience with DNA cloning, IHC, IF, and viruses along with mouse breeding, and mouse tumor studies is required.
The research involves studies on mechanism of gain of oncogenic function by mutant p53 as well as innovative targeting of GOF mutant p53 for therapeutic benefit.   This position provides excellent mentoring and training opportunities.
