The Center for Discovery and Innovation at Hackensack University Medical Center is seeking a full-time Postdoctoral Research Scholar to investigate transcriptional and epigenetic regulation of T cell-mediated immune responses to viral infection and tumors. This work will be done in the laboratory of Dr. Hai-Hui (Howard) Xue. The Xue lab combines mouse genetics and multiomics approaches to mechanistically define intrinsic pathways that program effector T cell differentiation, memory T cell formation, and rectification of dysfunctional T cells. Interested applicants must have a Ph.D. in immunology or a degree in a related biology field with relevant experience. Expertise in cell culture, flow cytometry, rodent handling, and basic cellular and molecular biology techniques is required. Applicants must be able to independently design, execute and interpret experiments, work in collaboration with other members of the laboratory, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
