With major funding commitments from both the central and the provincial governments, the Hengyang College of Medicine of the University of South China is undergoing major expansions. We seek highly qualified applicants for multiple faculty positions at all academic ranks in bio-medical sciences. We offer a generous package that includes internationally competitive start-up funds, laboratory space and technical supports, and salary and housing benefits. The minimal requirements are a PhD or MD degree from an internationally renowned University or Institution, plus three or more years of post-doctoral or equivalent experiences. Since its establishment in 1958, the Hengyang College of Medicine has been dedicated to excellence and leadership in medicine, education and research. Its faculty members and trainees have significantly contributed in shaping the medical field in China and beyond. In Hunan province, 68 percent of health care professionals graduated from Hengyang College of Medicine. In 2000, Hengyang College of Medicine became the medical branch of the University of South China, which is a comprehensive public university that operates on two campuses with more than 4,300 faculty members and nearly 40,000 students. Currently, the university offers 68 bachelor's, 44 master's and 5 doctoral programs through its 27 academic schools and colleges, 6 affiliated hospitals and 17 teaching hospitals.
