Senior Coordinator, Research Data

From caring for patients to conducting clinical and translational research, the Lymphoma and Myeloma department is one of the largest multidisciplinary programs treating these cancers of the blood in the U.S. Led by our faculty team of 25 physicians and scientists, our patients benefit from a team approach that includes our colleagues in radiology, surgery, radiation therapy, hematopathology, and stem cell transplantation, as well as clinical pharmacists, research and clinical nurses, social workers, and dietitians.

Job Responsibilities

Data Management
Develops and maintains system for controlling documentation flow for protocols, including by not limited to, medical records, laboratory and pathology information, regulatory documents and case report forms. Enters required data into data controls systems. Assists with protocol updates and chart audits.

Toxicity/Response Assessments
Monitors toxicity and response to study agents and reports to proper sources.

Protocol Monitoring
Managers flow of auditors and/or monitors for protocols as assigned. Includes oversight of the monitor visit and assurance of the completion of auditor/monitor checklists. Includes managing appointments for auditor/monitor with appropriate departments and personnel. Requires a high lievel of professionalism and organizational skills.

Sample Management
Assists in the collection of research samples, including tissue, scans, and records, from multiple departments within the institution and from outside institutions. Arranges delivery to protocol directed location as outlined.

Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent.

Education Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Science.

Experience Required: Four years of related experience. With preferred degree, no experience required.

Experience Preferred: MD experience.
