The College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) at Oklahoma State University invite applications for one tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor. The appointment will be 80% research and 20% teaching or diagnostic service depending upon the interest of the candidate with an academic home in one of the CVM Departments. A PhD, DVM or equivalent degree in a relevant field is required. Candidates who have a research focus on respiratory pathogens will be given greatest consideration, however, candidates with a research focus in other respiratory or infectious diseases will receive full consideration. The successful candidate will be expected to have (Associate Professor/Professor) or develop (Assistant Professor) and maintain an extramurally-supported research program.
The new hire will be a member of the Oklahoma Center for Respiratory and Infectious Diseases (OCRID) and will have access to OCRID resources including pilot project/project funding opportunities, mentoring programs, core facilities, seminars and networking opportunities (https://ocrid.okstate.edu/).
