Position Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated and well-organized research associate for multimodal imaging and image guided radiation research projects (e.g. Total marrow irradiation (TMI), image guided targeted therapy) within the Depart of Radiation Oncology (Hui laboratory), Beckman Research Institute, City of Hope. This is a part of the NIH (National Institute of Health) funded research for developing a total marrow irradiation program. The successful candidate will participate investigating pre-clinical imaging ( fluorescent optical imaging, PET/CT; MRI imaging) and radiation research though various multi-disciplinary and translational approaches. The successful candidate will also participate investigating clinical imaging ( PET/CT and MRI imaging) and TMI research . With strong support from the department chair, one of the main goal is to foster translational and correlative studies to bridge basic science and clinical trials.

Qualifications
Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:

1. PhD in physics or engineering, preferably medical imaging.
2. Experience with multi-modal imaging such as Optical, PET, MRI (preclinical and clinical)
3. Experience with instrumentation, image reconstruction, and image analysis
4. Experience with radiation research.
