Tenure-Track Faculty Position in Computational Imaging and Informatics

The Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR) at the Washington University School of Medicine (WUSM) in St Louis invites applications from outstanding Ph.D., D.Sc. and/or M.D. candidates for a tenure-track faculty position at all levels to lead the development of new programs in Computational Imaging and Informatics.

Basic Qualifications  

For each position, rank and tenure status will be commensurate with experience. It is expected that the applicants will have a strong track record of publications and success in external funding through grants and contracts. The successful candidate will be expected to develop and maintain a multi-disciplinary, rigorous and extramurally funded research program interfacing with the MIR’s research labs, translational imaging facilities and WUSM. The scope of this program includes, but is not limited to, computational imaging, quantitative image analysis, big data analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning for diagnosis, prognosis and therapeutics, and imaging informatics. We invite applicants in all areas, but added attention will be given to those whose strength lies in image reconstruction, imaging genomics/multiomics, deep learning, applications beyond brain (e.g., cardiac, body/musculoskeletal, lung and oncology) and have a strong translational focus.
