It is expected that the successful applicants will actively contribute to our core values of diversity, innovation and excellence in human genetics and genomic health, and that their previous and proposed research focus and practices will reflect this. The rank of appointment will be commensurate with experience and the position will come with a competitive start up package. Faculty in the Yale Center for Genomic Health have full access to the vast range of services and facilities provided by the Yale School of Medicine and enjoy the full range of benefits as a Yale faculty member.

About us: The Yale Center for Genomic Health is a center of excellence in human genetics, genome sciences, and precision medicine. Our overall mission is to tackle the most pressing challenge in the field: how to translate increasingly powerful genomic technologies and increasingly vast genomic data resources into meaningful improvements in healthcare, in a manner that equally benefits people of all ancestry groups and ethnicities. Our scope includes research into the causal relationship between human genome variation and function in health and disease, cutting-edge developments in computational genomics, biostatistics and data science, and implementation of genomics into healthcare. The newly-formed Center is directed by Prof. Ira Hall together with Prof. Michael Murray as Clinical Director.

The Yale Center for Genomic Health believes that outstanding science is driven by diversity. We strive to create an inclusive community of faculty, staff, and students whose voices and contributions are valued and respected, and who better represent the communities we serve. We are dedicated to providing an inclusive workplace that promotes and values diversity in age, gender identity, race, sexual orientation, physical ability, and ethnicity. Diversity is our commitment and our passion; we invite you to be part of it.
