CTMF Supervisor, Facilities Cleaning Services is responsible performing the required maintenance, repairs, cleaning and sanitization tasks for all GMP cleanrooms and controlled spaces at MD Anderson's Cell Therapy Manufacturing Facility (CTMF). The Supervisor will ensure adherence to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), verify that all cleaning, disinfecting and documentation activities adhere to CTMF expectations of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and current Good Documentation practices (cGDP). In addition, the Supervisor will be responsible for training employees and contract personnel to ensure that the facility remains compliant to CTMF procedures and policies.

KEY FUNCTIONS

•Follow proper methods and use prescribed materials for cleaning and sanitizing the cleanrooms and cGMP support space

•Maintain inventory levels of supplies and equipment. Perform cycle counting and re-order supplies to maintain sufficient inventory.

•Perform assigned tasks as scheduled as per training and SOPs

•Verify that the proper tools and equipment are used for assigned tasks on hand

•Keep cleaning schedules up to date and communicate frequently with Manufacturing and other support functions to ensure no disruptions to production schedules

•Complete and ensure required documentation to ensure that task records are maintained documenting that work is properly performed and on schedule

•Hire, onboard and train contractors and employees. Be accountable to your team and their needs.

•Experience with key functions of a GMP Quality Management System. Own CAPAs and Change Controls. Support thorough deviation investigations.

•Collaborate across multiple functional groups to execute tasks in a satisfactory time frame and manner.

Education

Required: Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Preferred: Master's degree

Experience

Required: Five years of relevant experience to include two years of lead or supervisory experience. With Master's degree, four years of required experience to include two years of lead or supervisory experience.

Preferred:

-Excellent cleanroom and sterile gowning technique

-Demonstrated knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and current Good Documentation Practices (cGDP)

-Ability to think critically and demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills as applicable to manufacturing process and equipment. Willingness to propose and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

-Self-motivated and willing to accept temporary responsibilities outside of initial job description.

-Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are essential in this collaborative environment.

-Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction and able to adjust workload based upon changing priorities.

-Ability to lift 40 lbs. repeatedly and stand for hours at time.

-Able to work off shift hours and weekends, as well as provide the on-call support as required.
