Work Schedule: Monday-Friday & Weekends, 10pm-7am

Supervises the housekeeping activities and employees. Impacts building services activities.

Key Functions
  1. Supervise workload of assigned staff.
    1. Conduct daily inspections of work areas.
    2. Develops staff schedules.
    3. Makes recommendations on disciplinary process.
    4. Observe clock in.
    5. Monitor cart check out and return.
    6. Assists manager with cost control.
  2. Training and development.
    1. Schedules and assists staff with mandatory training.
    2. Trains staff on work instructions.
    3. Trains staff on safety (Personal Protection Equipment)
    4. Trains staff in proper use of equipment.
  3. Administrative
    1. Controls use of overtime.
    2. Monitors staff on FMLA (call each member for return to work).
    3. Does daily Kronos updates.
    4. Does weekly exception reports.
    5. Completed ePerformance on schedule.
  4. Learns and understands Service Level Agreements, departmental policies and procedures and carries them out through proper responses and quality outcomes to ensure customer satisfaction
    1. Sets priorities and manages work and time through communication with other team leaders, team members and customers to satisfy their requests.
    2. Monitors own area and inspect work completed.
    3. Maintains hallways in a clear and safe manner at all times.
    4. Response to removal of hallway obstructions (standard: 15 minutes).
    5. Communicates with customers in response to concerns and requests.
    6. Identifies and reports life safety deficiencies on a daily basis.
  5. Other duties as assigned. Considered Essential Personnel.

Required: High school graduate or equivalent,. Five years commercial or industrial housekeeping experience. One year experience at the Building Attendant II level or one year of supervisory experience in a housekeeping department.
