Postdoctoral Fellow or Associate Research Scientist in Cardiovascular Molecular Imaging and Biology

The Cardiovascular Molecular Imaging Laboratory at Yale University School of Medicine (http://medicine.yale.edu/lab/sadeghi) is seeking a new member (postdoctoral associate or associate research scientist) with expertise in radiochemistry to develop novel imaging agents for cardiovascular pathology and participate in our first in human studies of matrix metalloproteinase-targeted tracers. In parallel, the fellow will work closely with other members of the laboratory who study innovative aspects of aortic aneurysm and calcific aortic valve disease pathobiology. This is a great opportunity to expand your knowledge base and get involved in multidisciplinary translational research.

The qualified candidate has a PhD in biological sciences with a background in radiochemistry, molecular imaging or related biomedical sciences, and a track record of high-quality publications. Experience in nuclear imaging and microsurgery is preferred.
