Position Summary
The Beckman Research Institute of City of Hope is looking for a talented Postdoctoral Fellow in the Kalkum Lab - Department of Immunology and Theranostics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and Development of novel diagnostic tools for the detection of Botulinum neurotoxin and other diagnostic targets.
- Development and application of targeted mass spectrometric techniques.
- Application and design of molecular biology approaches, including molecular cloning, expression and purification of recombinant proteins
- Genomics and proteomics data analysis using bioinformatics tools.
- Swift publication of results in peer reviewed manuscripts and mandatory progress reports.
Qualifications
Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:
- A Ph.D. degree in life or biomedical sciences, chemistry/biochemistry or a related discipline is required.
