Postdoctoral position available immediately in the Neurosciences Department with Dr. Michael Harrington at Huntington Medical Research Institutes (HMRI), Pasadena, CA for cutting-edge translational research on the pathophysiology of migraine. Migraine is among the top 5 leading causes of “years lived with disability” in women. The successful candidate will pursue behavioral, stereotactic, molecular, and electrophysiological neuroscience research, predominantly with rodent models. This position is for two years, with ample opportunities for internal and external collaborations, and with emphasis towards pursuing career independence.
Candidates should have a background in Neuroscience or Pain Research. Candidates, with a recent PhD degree, and a good track record of publications, will be given priority. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications, laboratory experience, and institutional guidelines.
