Vanderbilt University Medical Center, through an institution-wide initiative, invites applications for faculty in Computational Microbiology and Immunology at all levels. Successful candidates will be expected to establish and maintain an independent research program focusing on the development and application of computational methods in the areas of microbiology and/or immunology, and to participate in teaching of graduate and medical students. Areas of particular interest include, but are not limited to, host-pathogen interactions, cancer immunology, microbiome research, evolutionary microbiology, and systems immunology. Candidates should have substantial post-graduate training highlighted by peer-reviewed publications that demonstrate research productivity.

Vanderbilt University Medical Center, located on the Vanderbilt University campus, is home to internationally recognized programs in bioinformatics, drug discovery, global health, inflammation, imaging science, pharmacology, proteomics, and vaccine science.
