Postdoctoral Position Available
A postdoctoral position for protein crystallography is available in Dr. Jiang Zhu's laboratory. We are seeking highly motivated candidates who are interested in structure-based vaccine design for viral (HIV, HCV, Ebola, RSV, Flu and SARS-CoV-2) and non-viral (malaria and tuberculosis) pathogens.
Research projects may involve crystallographic and electron microscopic analyses of antigen/antibody complexes. Postdoctoral salary is in the range of $54,000 to $60,000 depending on prior research experience and qualifications.
Dr. Zhu holds a joint appointment in the Department of Integrative Structural and Computational Biology (ISCB) and the Department of Immunology and Microbiology at Scripps Research in La Jolla, CA (https://www.scripps.edu). Dr. Zhu is also an Adjunct Associate Professor at Texas Biomedical Research Institute (Southwest National Primate Research Center).
