Two NIH-funded Postdoctoral Research positions to investigate the mechanisms that control T cell activation, trafficking, and function during viral and parasitic infections are immediately available in Dr. Jeff Nolz’s laboratory at Oregon Health & Science University. Current projects include: 1) mechanisms that control T cell trafficking into non-lymphoid tissues, 2) differentiation of tissue-resident memory T cells within non-lymphoid tissue microenvironments, and 3) T cell activation, differentiation, and function during cutaneous and visceral leishmaniasis.

Applicants should have recently completed PhD or MD/PhD training or equivalent, have a broad, solid understanding of basic immunology and a strong publication record.
