The Department of Physiology invites outstanding scientists with Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent degrees to apply for a tenure-track faculty position at the level of Assistant Professor.

Candidates who bring innovative approaches to the study of any under-explored/unexplored questions broadly related to physiology are encouraged to apply.  The Scientific excellence of the continuing growth of the Department at one of the country's leading academic medical centers.  They will be supported by significant laboratory space, competitive salaries, state-of-the-art core facilities and exceptional start-up packages.  The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center is the scientific home of six Nobel Prize laureates and many members of the National Academy of Sciences and Institute of Medicine.  UT Southwestern conducts more than 3,500 research projects annually totaling more than $417 million.  Additional information about the Department of Physiology can be found at http://www.utsouthwestern.edu/education/medical-school/departments/physiology/index.html
