The University of South Dakota, School of Health Sciences seeks applications for a twelve-month, faculty position within the School of Health Sciences, Masters of Public Health Program. The position will provide strategic leadership in a dynamic and growing program and school to help shape the future public health policy and management curriculum, research.

The USD Masters of Public Health (MPH) is an online program, jointly held with South Dakota State University.   The MPH is a generalist public health degree, with a focus in rural and underserved (including American Indian) population health.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Teach graduate courses in public policy that broadly connects policy processes to public and nonprofit management and the larger governance environment (add more)
  • Mentor graduate students.
  • Contribute to the School’s vision of social justice.
  • Collaborate with faculty and administration in the development and implementation of new programs

Qualified applicants for this position must have a masters in Public Health, Public Policy or a Public Health-related field. Doctorate preferred. Faculty rank and salary will be commensurate with training and experience.
