Description

The Department of Nutrition seeks an energetic individual to instruct undergraduate nutrition course(s) as assigned. These include NFSC 202: Fundamentals of Human Nutrition, NFSC 203: Perspectives in Nutrition, NFSC 222: Nutrition for Health and Health Care, NFSC 365: Nutritional Physiology of Vitamins and Minerals.  Also, this individual will be expected to assist Department Head for academics to help with reports and other academic activities. This is a full time, 9-month, non-tenure track position at the instructional assistant professor level. Candidates must be able to function in an interdisciplinary program involving faculty, staff, graduate and undergraduate students from diverse backgrounds. Participation in service and outreach are expected.

Administrative Relationship:  This position is a 100% appointment within the Department of Nutrition in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and the position will be located on the College Station campus.

Qualifications

Qualifications:  To be considered for this position, candidates must have earned a Ph.D. in nutrition or related discipline. Successful candidates will possess a strong pedagogical background for teaching courses in nutrition and effective communication skills as applied to instructional activities and outreach.
