Post Doctoral Research Position

Post doctoral researcher position available in the laboratory of Dr. Junran Zhang with The Ohio State University, Wexner Medical Center, Arthur G. James Comprehensive Cancer Center and Richard L. Solove Research Institute, 

Focusing on the study of DNA damage response (DDR) and investigating how DDR can be exploited for personalized medicine. Currently, the main focus of Dr. Zhang’s research is to identify novel biomarkers predictive of the response to DDR inhibitors. This position will independently conduct research to identify novel biomarkers to guide the use of ATR, CHEK1 inhibitors and other DDR inhibitors; participate in grants preparation; train staff in molecular biology techniques.

Education/Experience:

A highly motivated postdoctoral candidate is required. Doctoral Degree in cancer/cell/molecular biology, biochemistry or related field required. Expertise in tissue culture, protein biochemistry & molecular biology technique, immunofluorescence microscopy and animal work preferred. Requires successful completion of a background check; qualified candidates may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen. Salary Range: $48,000 - $53,000
