Position Summary
Postdoctoral fellow positions are available immediately at City of Hope, one of a prestigious group of NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers. The successful applicant will join a highly competitive research lab to investigate molecular mechanisms underlying transcriptional control and cell signaling during the course of tumorigenesis and development. Specifically, the applicants will use "cutting-edge" and unique genetically-engineered mouse models to uncover gene-expression and genomic and epigenetic alterations in stem/progenitor cells and cancer initiation cells.

Qualifications
Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:

Candidate should have a Ph.D. or M.D/Ph.D. degree in Cancer Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, or a related field. Candidates should also have a proven track record of creativity and productivity. They should be highly self-motivated, strong desire to learn, and have excellent communication skills. Previous experience with mouse models of human diseases, cancer biology, molecular biology, or genetics is highly desired, but not required.
