The University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine, Department of Cancer Biology Plas Laboratory is recruiting for a motivated and skilled scientist for a Postdoctoral position to lead experiments in an exciting new direction for immuno-oncology chemotherapy of glioblastoma. Using immunocompetent mouse models of glioblastoma, the postdoctoral researcher will investigate the signal transduction, immune microenvironment, and metabolic responses to genetic and pharmacologic targeting of key signaling pathways. The position is supported by a recently initiated R01 and glioblastoma endowment funds supporting the laboratory. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ph.D., M.D., or M.D./Ph.D., required.
  • Requires an in-depth knowledge of a specialized field, process, or discipline.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work and collaborate effectively with students, faculty and staff from a variety of culturally diverse backgrounds.

Additional Qualifications Considered:

  • Relevant degree in fields, such as Cancer Biology, Immunology, or Cell Biology. 
  • Track record of flexibility and productivity. 
  • Preference will be given to those who have substantial strengths in collaboration, communication and/or computational analysis.
