The Ma Lab at the University of Pittsburgh is looking for self-motivated postdocs to study Liver Pathophysiology.
Drug-induced liver injury (DILI) remains one of the major concerns for drug developers, regulators, healthcare providers and patients. Unfortunately, the mechanisms of DILI are largely unknown. The research in Ma lab focuses on DILI. We use genetic, pharmacologic, and metabolomic approaches in our work. We are now recruiting new postdocs to investigate DILI. Postdocs will be encouraged to conduct independent research resulting in high quality publications and to prepare for long-term careers in academia or industry.
Candidates should hold a PhD and have research experience in molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry, or immunology. Candidates should be highly motivated and be able to work with mouse models. Competitive salaries (plus benefits) and excellent work environment will be provided.
Interested candidates should send their CV to Dr. Xiaochao Ma (mxiaocha@pitt.edu).
