We are seeking Biomedical Data Analyst to join an interdisciplinary team of cancer bioinformaticians, immunologists, and clinicians, who are working together to develop novel diagnostic methods, machine learning algorithms, and discover new cancer therapies.
The right candidate will have an outstanding academic record and strong communication skills, will demonstrate innovative and analytical thinking, and will enjoy working as part of an interdisciplinary team. We are looking for someone with strong programming skills and experience in computational data analysis (e.g. using any of R, Python). B.A./B.S. in a life sciences field: biology, biochemistry, or a related quantitative discipline is required, M.S. degree in same fields is preferred. The candidate will have an opportunity to learn basics of computational biology, bioinformatics and computational immunology through a course (https://canvas.harvard.edu/courses/49497). This is a fulltime position. The candidate will work at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in close collaboration with laboratories at Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center.
