Research Scientist

Research scientist/senior technician position available at Tulane National Primate Research center. The laboratory, supported by NIH R01s, focuses on cure strategy in HIV infection, and pediatric immunopathogenesis and immunotherapy in maternal HIV or HIV/Mtb co-infection utilizing nonhuman primate model. The translational goals are to develop clinical relevance in diagnostic and therapeutic approaches. 

Preferred applicants should have enthusiasm in the medical researches with high motivation and creativity. Candidates with an experience in Immunology/Molecular Biology(PhD or equivalent), Bioinformatics(Master’s degree equivalent, single-cell transcriptome and epigenomics, phylogeny) or Research technician(Q-PCR, IHC and lab management) are strongly encouraged to apply. Candidates will conduct independent research requiring the use of research animals and samples, as well as collaborate with research staff in experiments and data analysis.
