The Department of Entomology at National Taiwan University (NTU) invites applications for an Assistant Professor position in the field of Genetics with a specialty in Pest Management, Biodiversity, or Cell and Molecular Biology. Employment will begin from 1st August 2020. All applicants should have a Ph.D. degree plus at least one year of postdoctoral fellowship or other equivalent research experience. Successful candidates should demonstrate excellence in teaching and research, having a good command of English. The application package should include a cover letter, a representative publication (published after 1st August 2015), curriculum vitae, statements of research and teaching plan (including names and outlines of courses), a copy of the Ph.D. diploma, reprints of all publications (published after 1st August 2013), and names of two referees, one of whom has to be Ph.D. supervisor. Please note that referees should post reference letters directly to Professor and Chair Shiuh-Feng Shiao.
