Assistant Professor-Computational Biology (TT)

The Biology Department at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, Camden Campus, seeks a tenure track Assistant Professor in the area of computational biology for Fall 2020. Applicants must have a PhD from an accredited institution as well as postdoctoral training in computational biology, a strong record of research productivity commensurate with their experience, and a demonstrable commitment to teaching excellence.

The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in his/her area of expertise, and mentor graduate (MS, PhD) and undergraduate students as part of the research mission of the Biology Department and the Center for Computational and Integrative Biology (CCIB). Integration into the CCIB, a campus-wide interdisciplinary research center, is required. The candidate is expected to develop a strong and independent research program that will secure external funding to support ongoing research.
