Tsinghua University School of Medicine invites applications for a faculty position at junior or senior level to join the Center for Infectious Diseases Research. The mission of the Center is to promote understanding of the molecular mechanisms by which microbial pathogens cause diseases and resist antimicrobials. Applicants should have a Ph.D. or M.D. and post-doctoral training. Tsinghua University is one of the leading research universities in China. The Schools of Medicine and Life Sciences host well-established research programs in microbiology, immunology, structural biology, stem cell biology, development, neuroscience, cancer biology, biochemistry, and molecular biology. There will be ample opportunity for collaboration. All faculty members have full access to the recently established core facilities in cell biology, protein science, genomics, and animal research. Successful candidates will receive an internationally competitive startup package (~US$1 million in startup funds, 2 Ph.D. student slots/year) Rank will be commensurate with experience.
