Tenure-Track Faculty Position

The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Michigan seeks highly qualified applicants for full-time, tenure-track or tenured position at all faculty ranks. The successful candidate will hold a Ph.D. or other doctorate in relevant biomedical or pharmaceutical sciences. 

We seek applications from individuals working in all cutting-edge areas of pharmaceutical sciences that will complement and expand upon our current areas of strength.  We are especially interested in applicants working in biopharmaceutics, pharmacokinetics, delivery of complex and large molecules, and the gut microbiome.

We seek candidates who will provide inspiration and leadership in research and teaching and build dynamic research programs. Candidates are expected to contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community and build collaborative ties with other departments across the University.  In addition to scholarly pursuits, the candidate will be expected to contribute to excellence in the teaching programs of the College of Pharmacy, in mentoring graduate students and post-doctoral scholars, and in providing service to the department, college, university and scientific community.  Outstanding scholars of national and international acclaim at the level of full professor will be considered for recognition with the inaugural Larry and Ann Hsu Professorship, which will provide significant annual funds by way of a salary stipend and discretionary research funds.
