Staff Scientist and Assistant Professor Tenure Track Appointment

We seek to recruit an outstanding scientist performing basic research in any area of biology, to fill a tenure-track faculty position at Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School.  Particular emphasis will be placed on applicants who have not yet established an independent research group.  The applicant is expected to establish a leading research laboratory in the Gastroenterology Division at Boston Children’s Hospital, which is situated centrally on Harvard’s Longwood Medical Area Campus.  The position comes with a competitive startup package and the opportunity to interface with and train outstanding students that enter Harvard’s graduate, undergraduate and medical programs.  Candidates must have a Ph.D., an M.D., or an equivalent graduate degree.
