RESEARCH ASSOCIATE POSITION
Fully funded research associate position available in the laboratory of Tan A. Ince, MD, PhD, Chief of Pathology at the NYP Methodist Hospital, to establish and characterize patient-derived primary human tumor culture models. The project is based on our recent publications on this topic: Ince et al. 2015, Nature Communications 17:6:7419
The Ince Lab is relocating to Weill Cornell Medicine and is actively recruiting collaborators. The lab is located in Manhattan and will be fully operative in January 2020.
Requirements: M.S. or B.A. degree in Biology, or a related field. Two to three year work experience in a research laboratory, with prior experience in mammalian cell culture and molecular biology methods such as western blots, PCR, immunohistochemistry. Experience with handling laboratory mouse models (injections and necropsy) is preferred. Responsibilities include maintaining lab supplies, preparing and shipping culture media reagents. Candidates must be able start work during the first quarter of 2020.
