The Department of Cardiology at Boston Children’s Hospital (BCH) invites outstanding candidates to apply for a tenure-track faculty position. Anticipated rank at Assistant or Associate Professor of Pediatrics, Harvard Medical School, will depend on experience, training and achievements.
We are seeking applicants with exceptional potential to become leading independent researchers in cardiovascular functional genomics or bioinformatics. The successful candidate’s research program should align with the Department's focus on understanding basic mechanisms in cardiovascular biology and translating fundamental discoveries to the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric cardiovascular disease. Candidates will be expected to direct innovative and independent research programs, as well as work collaboratively with other members of the department. A commitment to teaching students and fellows is essential.
Successful candidates will be offered a competitive salary and start-up package. Suitable applicants will have an MD, PhD, or MD-PhD. For further information about the department, please visit us at: http://www.childrenshospital.org/cardiology and http://www.cvrlabs.org.
