POSTDOC AND SENIOR/STAFF SCIENTIST POSITION
IN ARTHRITIS AND AUTOIMMUNITY RESEARCH
Funded position available for a highly motivated PhD or MD/PhD with postdoctoral training (senior scientist) or without (postdoc) to join projects aimed at characterizing the invasive behavior of synovial fibroblasts and the regulation of regulatory T cells (Tregs) in rheumatoid arthritis. We have recently discovered new arthritis genes, including HIP1 and TRPV2 that regulate synovial fibroblasts and immune responses. This scientist will have a central role in characterizing the mechanism of action of these genes including single cell RNA sequencing, CYTOF and microbiome studies, and the development on new compounds to modulate these and other genes.
Applicants with background in genetics, immunology or molecular biology are asked to email their CV, three names/phone numbers of references, and a brief cover letter describing research interests and career goals to percio.gulko@mssm.edu.
Percio S. Gulko M.D.
