Description

The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (BMB) at the Bloomberg School of Public Health of Johns Hopkins University invites applications for tenure-track faculty, preferably at the Assistant Professor level. We are looking to hire three (3) candidates for this posting. We seek exceptional candidates with a demonstrated ability to study the cellular, molecular and biochemical underpinnings of problems with major public health relevance.

Qualifications

Areas of highest priority for this search include candidates with a strong background in cancer biology, with a focus on tumor microenvironment, host response, and the metastatic process. Applicants interested in fundamental cellular and molecular mechanisms that may apply to cancer biology, including immunology, stem cell biology, stress response biology, and DNA repair or other quality control mechanisms are also encouraged to apply.
