Postdoctoral Research Associate

Postdoctoral Research Associate position at the UNMC Eppley Institute and Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center.  A highly qualified and motivated candidate is sought to work in a well-funded multidisciplinary research group to study cancer metabolism in the context of tumor microenvironment, with special emphasis on pancreatic cancer.  For more detail, please read some of the recent publications (PNAS.109(34):13787-92; Nat Rev Gastroenterol Hepatol. 9(6):334-44: Cancer Metab. 2014 Sept1;2:18; Cancer Cell 2017 Jul 10;32(1):71-87.  The ideal candidate will possess a M.D. or Ph.D. in the field of Metabolomics/Biochemistry/Molecular Biology/Cancer Biology or a related field with expertise in molecular biology, cell-based assays and animal studies,  Candidates with expertise in metabolomics/mass spectrometry are highly encouraged to apply.
