Post Doctoral Associate
Postdoctoral position available in the Lab of Immunology, Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Maryland-College Park (www.umd.edu). We are seeking highly motivated postdoctoral research fellows to lead NIH-funded studies elucidating the immune mechanisms underlying protective immune responses or inflammation, and apply those immune mechanisms to the development of novel mucosal vaccines and therapeutic strategies.
A PhD degree in mucosal immunology, molecular and cellular immunology is encouraged. Ideal postdoctoral candidates will have strong publications, communication skills, the documented skills in flow cytometry analysis, and teamwork experience. Outstanding postdoc scientists will have opportunity to apply for federal or foundation research grants and Assistant Research Professor in the lab and department.
