POSTDOCTORAL FELLOW
UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI
The University of Missouri School of Medicine, Department of Molecular Microbiology and Immunology is seeking a postdoctoral fellow with a strong background in Microbiology, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Our research currently focuses on Diversity-Generating Retroelements (DGRs), which are molecular evolution machines that are widely distributed in bacteria, archaea, and their viruses. The postdoctoral fellow will conduct research on the mutagenic retrotransposition mechanism of DGRs and their practical applications. In addition, the candidate will participate in manuscript preparation, grant writing, and student training.
