Lecturer - Genetics

The Department of Biology and Marine Biology at the University of North Carolina Wilmington invites applications for a full-time lecturer to contribute to teaching our high-enrollment undergraduate genetics lecture course and coordination of genetics labs beginning in August 2020.  Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in teaching genetics, cellular/molecular biology and with the coordination of inquiry-based or writing intensive undergraduate laboratory exercises. The successful candidate may also develop additional courses and applied learning experiences as determined by candidate strengths and departmental needs, and will be expected to take an active role in departmental service.  Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Biology or related discipline at the time of appointment.
