Princeton University's Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology is seeking candidates for a tenured faculty position at the Associate or Full Professor level.
We seek scholars working in evolutionary biology and eager to interact with a diverse and interdisciplinary group of like-minded faculty within the department, as well as from the Lewis Sigler Institute for Integrative Genomics, the Princeton Neuroscience Institute, Computer Science, Molecular Biology, the Program in Applied and Computational Mathematics, and the Center for Statistics and Machine Learning. More broadly, we seek colleagues who will enthusiastically contribute to a climate of interdisciplinary collaboration, excellence and diversity.
Applicants should write a vision statement, no longer than two pages, that outlines one or more major unsolved problems in their field and how they plan to address them. In this respect, the vision statement should go beyond a summary of the applicant's prior and current research.
Applications, including the vision statement, curriculum vitae, three reprints, and contact information for three references can be submitted online https://www.princeton.edu/acad-positions/position/14201. Screening of applications will begin November 30th.
Princeton University is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. This position is subject to the University's background check policy.
