Open Rank, Tenured/Tenure Track Professor in Neuroscience
The Department of Neuroscience at The University of Texas at Austin invites applications to fill a faculty position at any rank (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor – tenure-track or tenured).
We seek innovative candidates with outstanding research potential in all areas within neuroscience. These candidates may help build new areas of strength or build on existing strengths of learning and memory, addiction, ion channel structure/function, computational/theory and perceptual systems.
The position entails highly competitive salary and start-up funds commensurate with level of appointment. Successful candidates will be expected to develop and maintain an active research program within a collegial, collaborative, and vibrant academic environment. We are interested in candidates who will contribute to diversity and equal opportunity in higher education through their research, teaching, and service.
