Faculty Position in Neurophysiology
Department of Neurosciences
Lerner Research Institute
The Cleveland Clinic
The Cleveland Clinic Department of Neurosciences is actively seeking candidates who are experts in neurophysiology, including in vivo and in vitro intracellular, extracellular, and patch-clamping techniques. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to integrate basic, translational, and clinical research programs across a variety of related disciplines with their own research. Candidates with PhD and/or MD degrees at all levels (Assistant, Associate, Full) with expertise in neurophysiology are encouraged to apply. Limited clinical responsibilities can be arranged for MDs. Independently-funded research programs are propitious but not required. The Lerner Research Institute offers a wide range of core facilities, generous start-up funds, and ongoing operational support. The Department of Neurosciences offers excellent research facilities, including state-of-the-art confocal microscopy, multi-photon microscopy, behavioral testing, human and rodent MRI, human tissue and serum banks, and three-dimensional electron microscopy. Candidates should submit a curriculum vitae, a brief statement of research interests, and contact information for 3-5 references via e-mail to nelsonc6@ccf.org.
