Biology: Assistant Professor (tenure-track) to teach undergraduate courses in general biology, human physiology or cell biology, and an advanced course in developmental biology, stem cell biology, or the biology of aging; develop an active research program leading to publications and external funding; advise undergraduate and graduate students; and provide service to the institution.
Require: Ph.D. in Biology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, or closely related field by date of appointment in August 2020.
Consideration may be given to a biologist who leads an innovative research program focused on cellular senescence, the biology of aging, or mechanisms related to the aging process or diseases of aging; uses research approaches from developmental, regeneration, or stem cell biology; and employs novel imaging tools, animal models, bioinformatics and computational approaches, or tissue engineering; to candidates with postdoctoral experience and a demonstrated commitment to teaching and developing an externally funded research program.
