The Cecil H. and Ida Green Center for Reproductive Biology Sciences, an endowed basic science research center, is recruiting to fill a newly created Tenure-track Assistant Professor Position.  We invite applications from outstanding candidates studying the molecular biology of reproduction using cell-based or physiological models in combination with molecular or genomic approaches to address fundamental questions concerning reproductive biology.  Areas of interest included signaling, gene regulation, and genome function, especially in the areas of chromatin and transcription, epigenetics, nuclear endpoints of cellular signaling pathways, nuclear receptors, RNA biology, genome organization, and genome evolution.  The Green Center’s research programs focus on reproduction and development in a broad sense, as well as aspects of endocrinology, stem cells, cancer, metabolism, inflammation, immunity, and neurobiology.

The Green Center promotes and supports cutting-edge, integrative, and collaborative basic research in reproduction, development, and related areas of biology, as well as strong connections between basic and clinical research. Successful candidates will be housed in a newly renovated state-of-the-art research facility with a generous start-up package, and are expected to establish scientifically rigorous and externally funded research programs and participate in center, department, and university teaching and training programs.  To learn more about the Green Center, visit: https://www.utsouthwestern.edu/education/medical-school/departments/green-center/.
