Assistant Professor of Biochemistry

The Department of Biochemistry and the Institute for Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine at the University of Washington announce a joint search for a full-time faculty position at the tenure-track, Assistant Professor level. This is a 12 month service period position and is anticipated to start July, 2020. All University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research, and service.

Laboratory and office space will be provided by ISCRM at the South Lake Union Campus of the University of Washington. The SLU Campus is a dynamic research environment and offers outstanding opportunities for interdisciplinary collaborations.

Qualifications

We are seeking a creative scientist using innovative molecular approaches to understand biochemistry of stem cells, development or regeneration.

Requires a Ph.D. in Biochemistry or related field (or foreign equivalent) with research achievements and interests in biochemistry and regenerative sciences, as documented by a record of publication.
