Assistant Professor

Biology: Assistant Professor (tenure-track) to teach undergraduate courses in human physiology or cell biology, and graduate courses in medical physiology for new biomedical science and physician assistant programs; develop an active research program leading to publications and external funding; advise undergraduate and graduate students; and provide service to the institution.

Require: Ph.D. in Biology, Physiology, or closely related field by date of appointment in August 2020.

Consideration may be given to physiologists using modern molecular, cellular, or systems approaches to advancing our understanding of bone physiology, cardiovascular physiology, respiratory physiology, or other areas of medical physiology; to candidates with postdoctoral experience and a demonstrated commitment to teaching and developing an externally funded research program.
