The University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Pharmacy invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in cancer therapeutics and/or precision medicine.

This faculty position is part of a new initiative to expand research on human cancer using precision medicine approaches at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, led by the recent establishment of the Center for Human Genomics and Precision Medicine, and is part of a campus-wide Cluster Hiring Initiative in Human Cancer Genetics and Precision Medicine. This cluster hire position affords the successful applicant with significant financial resources to help her/him establish a vibrant career. The successful candidate will benefit from being a part of a highly interactive and cooperative scientific environment with cutting-edge core facilities. Applicants must have a Ph.D and have expertise in human cancer therapeutics, diagnostics, pharmacogenomics, precision medicine, or related discipline. At least 2 years of postdoctoral research experience is preferred. The tenure home of the successful applicant will be determined at the time of hire in a division within the School of Pharmacy. Clinician-scientist candidates requiring access to patient care will have the opportunity for joint appointments between the School of Pharmacy and the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.
