Job Details

The Role:

Reporting to the Principal Scientist, Process Development, the Senior Research Associate, Drug Product Process Sciences will work with in vitro bioanalytical systems to evaluate samples from in vivo studies. The successful candidate will be able to deliver reproducible and impactful results under ambitious timelines.

Here's What You'll Do:
  • Develop and characterize lipid nanoparticle (LNP) formulations for delivery of mRNA.
  • Work with in vitro bioanalytical systems, evaluate samples from in vivo studies and characterize test articles such as lipid nanoparticles.
  • Collect, archive, processs and organize samples, including those from in vivo studies, for downstream analyses.
  • Manufacture and perform characterization of test articles for in vitro and in vivo studies.
  • Deliver reproducible and impactful results under ambitious timelines.
  • Execute and troubleshoot standard protocols, develop and adapt new protocols into practice and query literature to incorporate additional assays as needed.
  • Independently plan and execute experiments.
  • Use tangential flow filtration (TFF).
  • Characterize lipid nanoparticles using HPLC and dynamic light scattering.
  • Document research and work product, analyze and interpret findings for reports, regulatory submissions and presentations.
  • Clearly communicate research findings to a wide audience both internally and externally.

  • Must have MS degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field plus
  • 1 month experience in the development and characterization of nanoparticle formulations, required
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week, 9-5
