Faculty Position, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology

We seek faculty candidates for a tenure-track position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. The successful applicant will be expected to develop a well-funded research program that complements existing areas of strength in the University and the Department, including model organism-based research, structural biology, membrane proteins, organelle biology, DNA replication, transcription, epigenetics, and aging-related neurodegenerative disease. The applicant will also contribute to graduate and medical teaching. The position is state-supported with a guaranteed salary base, excellent fringe benefits, and competitive start-up funds. Applicants should have a Ph.D. or equivalent, postdoctoral experience, and a strong publication record.
