Postdoctoral scientist: Human immunology in NYC

A postdoctoral position aimed at uncovering mechanisms of the human immune system is available at Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) and Weill Cornell Medicine in New York City. Within the HSS Research Institute, the Donlin laboratory aims to define pathologic molecular features of human autoimmune disorders and infections: www.donlinlab.com.

The Donlin lab seeks a PhD or M.D/Ph.D. scientist with considerable experience in immunology, with laboratory skills including flow cytometry and cell culture assays. The projects will span basic science to translational research, analyzing patient samples from our hospital with high-dimensional assays such as single-cell RNA-sequencing to expand on previous studies (Kuo et alSci Transl Med 2019, Zhang et alNat Immunol 2019, Stephenson et alNat Comm 2018).

HSS is a top-ranked musculoskeletal specialty hospital [U.S. News and World Report #1 Hospital for Orthopedics and #3 for Rheumatology] located in Manhattan’s Upper East Side, with strong affiliations at the neighboring institutes of Weill Cornell Medical College, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Rockefeller University. The HSS postdoctoral program provides career support, possible housing supplements and competitive salaries: https://www.hss.edu/research-postdoctoral-program.asp
